I ordered mine from EGSKSHOP and received a free copy to review. However, my opinion and rating are my own. It arrived much quicker than I expected and I was happy to try it. I have straight, thin hair (but lots of it). I've done curls before, trying to achieve those beautiful loose waves you see everywhere. The box was a bit confusing as it had a lot of the traditional markings I was used to. The packaging clearly says Made in China. There was a guide but I think it could have been a bit more detailed. Mine arrived in good condition and seemed to heat up quickly. I followed other reviews' advice by pointing the large plate downwards. I didn't like the results - they didn't look like waves (or at least the waves I had in mind) but my partner told me it was really cute. I'm absolutely certain there is some potential here, but I suspect I may need to do some research to figure out the best way to use this (and get the results I want). It was really easy to use and took me very little time to think. Due to the nature of the muddy wave, there was a lot less pressure when I skipped a leg in the back or had to do it again. Unlike many other products I've tried on my hair, it really felt like I could do it and it didn't scare me and I never tried it again.
