I am wearing my first pair of Ryka walking shoes, they are great but because they are mesh my feet got wet when it rained or when I walked on the grass. Since I loved Ryka shoes so much I was looking for a leather pair hoping my feet would stay dry. These shoes fit the bill. They are comfortable and supportive and require no break-in period. My feet are dry walking on grass and rain. i really love her My shoe size is 7.5W and they fit perfectly. Updated Review: I received these shoes in September 2018. Gradually they began to feel uncomfortable, rubbing the edges. Worst of all, the tread on the underside is completely worn out. I walk my dog 3-5 times a day but short walks only because he is 15 years old and has hip problems. These are hiking shoes though, so I can walk in them all day. Noticing my feet slipping on wet surfaces, I checked the tread and was stunned to discover the outsole was smooth! They only lasted from September 2018 to January 2019.
