I'm a medium height female, 5ft 7in and ordered a medium sized men's suit that fits me but doesn't pinch me. I also ordered size XL for my average height of 6ft 2in. build a husband who was harder on him than mine. For the price unbeatable. They are thin but warm, beautiful and long. Outside - smooth polyester, inside - soft fleece. Very stretchy so I don't think you can get compression regardless of your size. It's good alone in the 50's and a good base coat for temperatures below the 50's. If you need something in the 35-50 degree range that you can wear alone, I recommend the Baleaf Thermal.
