I ordered the 'green' set which is an aventurine stone. If you do some research you will find that this is not "real" jade made of jade or jadeite. So they are not clever in their description. Aventurine is a variety of quartz, but its properties are similar to "real" jade. This quartz is also known as "Indian Jade". That is why it is called jade. Many face rollers and jewelry are made from this stone. Result. It is NOT glass as some people are suggesting from the comments. Find out before you complain. The seller did not mislead the consumer with the name or description of the goods. And to be honest, you're not going to get "real" nephrite jade or jadeite from a product that costs $16 on Amazon. What, as they say. I used this product right out of the box after washing it. I have used squalane oil on my face and it was very smooth/refreshing on the skin. I love the fact that each piece is a different shade of green which shows the authenticity of the quartz used. I used to use daiso's plastic faux rose quartz facial massager, which worked really well, but I decided to take it a step further. You get what you pay for and in my opinion these are quality items for the price. It comes in a nice box and a cute little holdall if needed. Their customer service is also excellent. I emailed them about my eBook and they emailed me a PDF a few hours later. The e-book is packed with information on the history of Gua Sha Therapy and instructions on how to use each part.
