Review on 🔴 KOHLER K-CB-CLW2026SS 20" x 26" Aluminum Bathroom Medicine Cabinet with Decorative Silver Framed Mirror Door, Surface or Recess Mount - Red by Aries Reed

First of all I have to say that I have never received a better packaged item for shipping, as well as a cabinet with so much mirrored glass construction. So good work. Has the look I wanted and was very reasonably priced. Was sent quickly. I lowered my rating (so far) for two main reasons. #1 was mounting (surface mount) mounting. It's terrible. The bottom of the unit attaches to the wall using a short aluminum rod with a very shallow groove that fits the comb at the bottom of the cabinet. It absolutely does not correspond to the weight of this product. The length of the bracket is too short (about 8 inches long) for precise alignment as any error is magnified by the height of the case. The grove itself is flat. The notch on the mounting bracket and the tab on the bottom of the case that goes in needs to be much deeper to allow for some adjustment. Kohler, please don't argue with me. This is not enough. Once you mount the cabinet on this mini mount you have to play around with two clips on the top that I've never seen before. The installation of these clips is cumbersome and dangerous because the cabinet bottom is practically not held. A little push and he goes down. Generally a crappy fastening system. No. 2 loops. Again inappropriate for the work they were given. The mirrored door swings back about 110 degrees, and when you rotate it all the way up, the hinges give a noticeable jump that's not meant to stop the door from moving. There are loops that are made for this and I would pay an extra $5. Of course you can be very careful, but does anyone have grandchildren? Those are the wrong loops for this application. I think what worries me a little is that I wasn't expecting a bad product from Kohler. I still like the wardrobe very much and the price is good. I'm a builder and I'll do a few things to make it more secure to the wall and just be careful with the door.
