These tables are BEAUTIFUL as bedside tables. Sturdy, well made, functional and looks great in our seaside master bedroom. You have 2 USB and 2 regular sockets in the back compartment. However, there is a problem. The smell from the tables is terrible. And it's winter here and I can't air the room. I couldn't sleep the first night, the tables were in the bedroom and I had a terrible headache. The smell even stayed on the box and the inner packaging that was in a large room where it was unpacked. Almost the whole house is filled with this strong chemical smell. I called the 800 number on the outside of the box for help. The sleepy lady answered, took my information and no one ever called back. Finally, I googled desperately and found some suggestions. I poured baking soda in drawers and closets and sprinkled Febreeze bath towels on top to put on tables and put all the packaging in the garage and those things helped. So overall I'm still glad I bought these beautifully made pieces and give them 5 stars but I'll be really happy when the smell goes away. And if they don't call you back, don't put that phone number on the package.
