Build quality:Oxford fabric is well stitched with no loose ends, didn't feel super premium, but not cheap either. Poles are about 15mm thick and sturdy. However for a cot it is a bit on the thin side.Assembly:If you have setup a tent before the process is very similar. Pole segments held together by elastic cords which helps snap in place. 5 support bars hold up the 2 side bars creating fabric tension. To install the support bars you have to exert a great amount of force to bend the bars in place. This can be rather dangerous if your finger or hand get caught. Despite the warning I still got a pinch bruise injury on my hand. Ouch. Do no recommends kids putting this together.Usage:My weight is about 160lb 6ft and there is a good amount of sag. Not enough tension to hold the canvas fabric taut. This might cause some back pain which I supplemented with a sleeping pad. However, the sag towards the ends, where your head or feet is positioned, is more severe causing awkward sleeping arrangement. Your head will tilt down further than your body. Pillow will naturally want to slide off. Conclusion:For occasional/backup use this budget lightweight cot is good enough. It gets the job done. However, for more frequent use there are better more comfortable options.
