Absolute rubbish!: Headphones

When I was out of work due to the coronavirus response, I decided I would return to a hobby I had left many years ago : Call of Duty. I was frustrated to find that my Xbox 360 mic no longer worked with the new controllers, so I bought this headset thinking it would provide a comfortable, quality gaming experience at a relatively low price. I was very wrong. I hate this headset with every fiber of my being. It's the chunkiest piece of junk I've ever had to carry. I'll start with cables. The cords are thick and incredibly long, so long that I often find them getting tangled while playing. I find this frustrating in large part. The enormous weight of the cables makes the controller uncomfortable to use, even after a month of getting used to it. Wires aside, the headset itself is less comfortable than the one Prince Andrew wore during this interview about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. It doesn't provide a good fit, but it could mean I have the wrong head. When it comes to the mic, even after fiddling with the settings, my friends constantly complain about the low hum that occurs when my mic is on. Most of the time, whatever I hear through the headset comes through my microphone, regardless of the volume. Finally, the headband of the microphone does not cling to the face and has no sensitivity, so you can forget about communicating at a reasonable volume. But I will not return this product. Oh no, I'm going to leave this piece of junk until my new mic comes along, and then I'm going to destroy it. I feel a wave of euphoria wash over me as I surrender to the complete disembowelment of this headset. With a pair of scissors, a hammer, and maybe even a little fire, I'm doing my fellow Americans a favor by making sure there's one less junk on the market. Do not buy this headset.

Pros

Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
