For those looking at the purple shorts the design is DIFFERENT - see my posted photos. However, I'm happier with that one spot than with the glowing rainbow leaves. Will be great for my upcoming trip to the beach as they can be used as shorts and swimwear in one. The material is a very light feeling polyester and the inside is a very thin, light material, almost transparent. The laces work. Even if you have buttocks and thighs, they will fit you but also allow you to tighten your waist. I don't think they are true to size but small. I looked at the published measurements and realized I need to get an XXL instead of my typical XL. If you wear pants in size 14-16, take size XXL unless you have a butt! I prefer my shorts not to be tight and this ensures a perfect fit.
