I ordered this along with 2 construction truck board books for my grandson's 2nd birthday. I didn't open it before wrapping it up and giving it to him so I was nervous it might not be strong enough. The boy I was wonderfully surprised! Not only was it durable but all the little trucks were sturdy and perfect for a 2 year old! We put in double-A batteries (you'll need a small Phillips screwdriver to get to the battery compartment) and the big truck hums and turns, but not as annoyingly. My grandson never stopped playing with him. He loved it. He couldn't get enough of packing small trucks into a bigger truck. So happy with this toy.
