I am impressed with the dual use method this unit offers. It can be used as a temporary maintenance/light duty box by using hidden built in magnets around all corner areas and then simply folding back if no longer needed at that point or sticking on the strong round double sided tape that is included. Another thing I really appreciate is that after removing these from the plastic sleeve I noticed that all four corners had strong plastic corner protectors to keep them safe and the corners weren't scratched during shipping - great control quality, even after it left the factory. Assembly requires unfolding the box, which naturally takes the shape of the box, and then either holding the magnets together or putting glue in each inside corner. The texture on the outside is fine and elegant, giving it a premium look. . The appearance is matte, as if it were a flat tweed material. The inside of the box is plain black and purely functional. I've often wished that manufacturers would make these stylish boxes that could serve as temporary boxes and then let me put them back together when I no longer need them. This manufacturer did just that and I really appreciate it. I peeled off part of one of the double sided adhesive discs and it was more than sticky enough to hold the box together forever if needed. I'm a big fan of this style of boxing, but a big fan of this particular style of boxing that has two ways of using it. I love everything about this box which of course can also be used as a very, very nice gift box to present your (other) gift as it is a gift in itself. Thank you for reading.
