Organizer fits my door perfectly. It takes a bit more "force" to close the door, probably because the door sits a bit higher in the frame (not entirely positive) as the metal hooks are a bit springy and press a bit against the frame. The fact that they are there is very good because I had a previous coat rack above the door which was for the front/side/back doors to the house not the bedroom door and the hanging parts were too wide great for the door . It also takes a while to get used to as opening the door and hearing the slight knock of their movement keeps startling me. I'm wondering if there's a way to nail the bottom to the door so it doesn't sound like I rammed the door into a hidden intruder. lol. So far I like the shoe organizer very much. I can put the shoes I wear most in there instead of putting them on the floor where they can kick and trip on my way to the bathroom at night. Some of my apartments can be joined, leaving room for another pair of apartments. Nice trick I found trying to prioritize as there are 24 slots but technically only "12" pairs of shoes will fit. It just makes me realize that I don't need shoes anymore.
