Works as expected: Computer accessories and peripherals

I have a 2nd Gen ThinkBook 13s with a USB-C port that also serves as a power source. I wanted the USB-C adapter to add a second display output so I could connect up to 2 monitors to my laptop when I'm at my desk at home. I originally had a USB-C adapter that didn't have pass-through charging, meaning I could only use it when I wasn't charging. This adapter worked great and I am currently using it to connect a second monitor to my laptop (the first is connected to the laptop's built in HMDI output) while charging the laptop through this adapter. I also have a mouse connected to the USB port and a USB-A hub with a keyboard and other peripherals. Now when I want to take my laptop somewhere, I just unplug two cables (one for this adapter and one for the first monitor); When I come back I just plug them back in. This works great, although I've noticed that I sometimes have to wiggle the adapter a bit while plugging it in. As long as things don't get worse, this seems like a good buy if you want to get more out of laptops with limited port choices, even if you need power. It also works with my USB-C phone (note that not all smartphones support HDMI output, but you should be able to use it to connect most USB devices or a memory card).

Pros
  • USB-C 4K ADAPTER
Cons
  • Available in black only
