they have a good sound but little bass. They hold a charge for a very long time, and the base keeps charging the headphones without having to charge the base very often. I can bike 4 to 5 hours [40+ miles] and they will play all the time. Both earbuds have controls for volume up and down, and for stepping forward and backward through a playlist. The only downside is that you have to use the right earbud to listen to music. The left earbud does not work like other bluetooth earbuds. [I have COBY headphones]. So when the right earbud needs charging, you can't listen to music. They just stop working when the charge runs out. I use them for up to 6 hours straight before plugging them back into the base and they play for so long. I no longer use them so I don't know how long they will last before needing a charge. The [charging] base unit has a Type-C connector but comes with the connector of the same color. as a base. I also have a blue block for my mountain bike. They work very well and are very economical for their money.
