It offers as you said but not much more than a wide brimmed hat
This is a simple umbrella with an elastic band that wraps around the forehead. Unfortunately, the hands holding the umbrella above your head also have to be attached to a rubber band, which can scratch your forehead. It provides shade, but I don't seem more exhausted than if I were wearing a wide-brimmed hat.
