Good Motorcycle Charger

I've used battery chargers, but I needed something that would take better care of bad batteries. There is no risk of overcharging with this charger. Absolutely safe for car electronics. spark suppression. Safe for long battery life. Automatic shutdown in the event of a short circuit or disconnection of the battery. "Safety for the electronics" is important when using CanBus systems. However, this is not very user friendly. The user interface consists of indicators that show the charge status. The instructions provided are not clear for all conditions and the meaning of all light/flashing colours. Part of the process is a 12 hour test charge cycle, so you'll want to leave the Optimate plugged in for a long time to be effective. If you are not in a hurry, this is a good charger. You just have to let him do his thing.
