My puppy came to our home in a rather chilly October. During the day, when the sun was shining, toilet training was much easier, but at night, instead of going "to his place” in the yard, he just sat between my legs and shivered. Most XS sweaters were pathetically large for him, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something he would only wear for a few weeks at best. It was the perfect fit. It was soft, trimmed so as not to interfere with the male dog's potty training, and I thought the color looked quite charming.
