The installation instructions were mostly correct. Good luck getting assistance from an Amazon seller. You have to go through the manufacturer's website, so that's a bummer. I was repeatedly denied help with questions such as how to use the source. Installed controls, they do NOT chafe my bike shop tubes which is cool, both Harley OEM and some others I've bought from Amazon. They are reasonably adjustable and comfortable. The fittings are of excellent quality as far as I can tell. For assembly, I recommend blue Loctite for everything. I also applied a light amount of axle grease to the gray pegs to prevent sticking and premature peg wear. 1500 km and no problems! - Update 12/29/19 So I'm downgrading one star because I can't fit another footrest. The clevis pin mount is centered on the bracket. So unless you make your own adapters to fit there and then slide in and attach the new footrest like most aftermarket products, you're stuck. Even if the fork pin was close to the edge, there is about an inch between edge and edge, so the pins just fall down, not on the edge but up.
