I would give it one star but it's a cute and simple case that just doesn't work with Magic Keyboard. The magnets connect to the keyboard to hold HOLD, but you can't use the keyboard or charge it via the magic iPad charging keyboard. The keyboard cannot be covered with the iPad case. The pencil stays on the case BUT it slips off very easily compared to a pencil placed directly on the iPad. Pros and Cons: It's smooth like silky smooth plastic, which again makes it harder to grip BUT makes it easier to wipe and clean after 5 years of iPad use. The edges are smooth and curved - fits very well. It's layered on the iPad - I take it as a pro, BUT it also makes swipe unlock more difficult. That's why I give 2 stars. This is great for older students who are taking notes and want something light but without a cover. However, this doesn't work for the teacher, who has to go back and forth between notes and documentation of progress and back to the keyboard, but has to start all over again.
