What to do after wearing a knee brace for several months?

If you're wearing a regular brace that covers your entire knee and hamstrings and has a one-piece construction around the knee, it's great at first. And after a few months of using this type of brace, you can still twist or pull your knee in the opposite direction. The double-thick padding under these straps keeps the knee in place. By the end of the day the swelling has gone down and I don't feel like it's hurting again. Additionally, these straps can be crossed over so you can place the padding directly on your knee and stay in place. What I like most about this product is that the pads are in the correct position on the knee which reduces the pain and swelling. This is my fourth type of strap and I personally find it best after using braces.
