The motor becomes noisy over time
We really liked this lamp when we first bought it. It was beautiful, vital and QUIET. We put our child in the room to help him fall asleep at night, to soothe him and also to serve as a night light. Unfortunately, in just 4 months the engine became so LOUD it was almost like the sound of a car. We don't listen to the soothing music we play to help the baby fall asleep, and even if it's pleasing to the eye, it no longer serves its purpose. The box says the engine is like a "whisper" and that's far from reality after just a few months.
