The label advises you to consult an optometrist before using on lenses with anti-reflective coatings as the alcohol in the solution can damage the coating. I used it for my anti glare glasses and my lens wasn't damaged after one use but I stopped using it after that. At the time of purchase, I paid $2.99 for a bottle; However, if you don't have anti-reflective glasses, you can buy the same 8-ounce product for a dollar at your local store.
