Revain sizes say Order size XL for my height. Knowing that these types of skirts tend to stretch a bit, I went for size Large. It is great! My hips are 42 inches and they fit me perfectly. The stomach is not visible, I do not go up or down. Perfect for my summer wardrobe! Update: I'm 5ft 5" and around 170-180lbs depending on the year - LARGE fits great if not a bit loose. If you like tight skirts, go one size down. I wear them all the time - pull them up to my waist, put on a belt and let my inner Kelly Bundy flow.
