I use this measuring tool to make paracord survival bracelets and straps for friends and family. I used to use a regular cloth tape measure which works fine, but this little device makes things even easier and faster. It's actually quite an original little instrument. I'm surprised I didn't know it existed before. This is a self retracting body tape measure that provides very accurate measurements. It's made of plastic so it's not very durable, but you shouldn't use it on a lumber yard. For body measurements I expect it to serve me well. Oh, and it comes with a regular fabric tape measure too, and that tape comes in a nice storage holder. In other words, you get two measuring tapes with your purchase.
