This trash bag is made from ballistic nylon and has velcro straps that hold the top cover in place and also help keep it in place on the car carpet. Straight out of the box. It stood up and didn't fold up on its own or fall off. Adding a weighted "bean bag" to a bottom zippered pouch makes it very essential. I put it on the floor of my 2014 Ford Fusion and it fits perfectly. I am very happy with it. I don't generate a lot of garbage in my machines, I usually use a paper napkin and maybe some wrappers of something small. And sometimes a can of soda. So this XL size is way bigger than I will most likely ever need.
