I waited until the summer was over before writing this review. I originally bought 3 nest cameras as a temporary measure to keep an eye on my house while I was going into town for an extended period of time. Well, the nest cameras worked so well that I left them active, but I wanted to add a night vision camera outside of the house. Instead of pointing the camera through a window that might cause glare, I ordered this housing. In short, he and the Nest Cam inside survived the Texas summer! Installation was easy. I installed it under the eaves of my roofline. This protects it from direct rain and sunlight. I really recommend installing it under the eaves to protect it as it is not fully weatherproof. Thinking about getting another one for the garden.
