Review on 🐱 IAMS PROACTIVE HEALTH Chicken & Salmon High Protein Dry Cat Kibble by Ashley Chaney

I have used at least four different types of Iams dry cat food over the years and have purchased them both at the grocery store and online. The cats all loved them and I had no quality issues until I bought this high protein jam for the first time this week. As soon as I opened it I knew I was getting it back. Smells like color! Strong. When it comes to human food, the smell reminds me of rancid olive oil or rancid frying oil. Now, many of us have consumed rancid oil with no side effects, especially those of us who grew up in a time when frying oil was always left in the fryer instead of putting it in the fridge. But I will not feed my cats any food that smells like paint. I don't know if I have a bad bag or if this particular Iams just smells like it. While I have no hesitation in buying Iams dry food in the future, I will never buy this high protein variety again.
