I like this more than white umbrellas as it directs all of the light onto the subject rather than just diffusing the light that happens to be aimed at the subject. Allows for much better use of light sources by capturing and directing all light from the source. My only minor complaint is that the switch for my lamps is on the lamp socket, so I have to unclip the diffuser every time I want to turn the light on or off. Although it's not a big problem.
