I have a lot of dandruff in my beard and I don't agree with rubbing oil into my skin which causes my face to crumble. So I bought this thing. I love the old school hair salon smell and it really softens my beard. The only problem I have is that it doesn't penetrate deep enough to reach the skin under my beard so it doesn't help the dandruff on my beard that much. Considering this was the main reason I bought this stuff, it doesn't really do what I need, but if you just need to soften your beard a little, this will help. This might also work for you if you have a very, very short beard.
