Review on 📱 amFilm Glass Screen Protector for iPad 9.7 6th/5th Gen: Tempered Glass, Apple Pencil Compatible by Jeff Dawson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

When it comes to screen protectors, the supplier is important. Techmatte is great!

I believe that most of these screen protectors are technically equivalent with the same material and thickness. What is different is the quality of the supplier. How good are their instructions, shipping, packaging, installation instructions, installation assistance, and aftercare? In that regard, Techmatte is a 5 star in all of these categories, especially in aftercare. and backed by a lifetime guarantee. They replaced both screens in just two email exchanges and they arrived in a matter of days. I received this screen protector (and one for the iPhone) as a gift from my wife and had the screen protectors already applied so they sat on the shelf until needed. Last week I decided to install them and encountered some difficulties, presumably due to the aging of the adhesive as they were over a year old when I finally used them. The iPad screen protector had a cracked screen, possibly after unpacking or removing the film for installation, which seemed difficult to peel off, and the screen may have been bent and cracked. The original screen came in a thick, hard envelope. The replacement screen was packaged in a cardboard box and was much more rigid so as not to damage it when flexed. As a review of the screen protector. I used plastic until the glass came out. I have found that plastic shades are actually more durable and just as protective as glass shades. I protect my phones with Tech21 D30 shockproof cases and have never had a problem, even with a 2m drop onto concrete! But apparently in such an event the protective glass fails on contact with the screen and the plastic is fine. In no case will the phone be damaged. I have not used a screen protector on an iPad before, but I have found that the Logitech keyboard scratches the plastic screen protector. The glass remains transparent, but I've noticed small micro-scratches on the plastic lenses. But they are cheap enough to change every year.
