Review on Double Tea Stainless Infuser Filter by Jason Epstein

This cup is huge! I think 16 ounces should have alarmed me. I see that there are many outstanding reviews for this mug, so I will give a slightly different opinion on this item. I bought it for tea (obviously), but I think it's too big for that kind of use. It's hard to drink 16 ounces of tea before it gets too cold. It's ok if you want a really big cup of tea. The reason I deducted a star is because the metal tea infuser has a silicone gasket that holds it fairly tight. While you might think this is a good thing, it takes too much effort to squeeze out when filled with boiling liquid. The thin glass lid, on the other hand, just floats up and gets very hot when you have to take it off to use it as a basket stand. The combination of the two makes it tedious and painful to use. I think this allows the beer glass to look better because of its shape and capacity, and you can still use the brew basket and lid with another brew cup or mug. GREAT to keep.
