How long does the fastening cord last?
I bought two of these to replace a pair with plastic cases. The previous ones worked fine except both had a broken tailpiece. The new ones appear to be the same gauge cord and again, if it breaks, there's no obvious way to replace it. It would be nice if the company could supply a stronger/bigger string or provide a way to replace it. With daily use, make sure that the string does not come into contact with neighboring materials or instruments.
