Review on Upgrade 5 in 1 Electric Razor for Men - Multifunctional Bald πŸͺ’ Head Shaver Grooming Kit - USB Rechargeable & Cordless Waterproof Hair Trimmer (Gray) by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Efficient tailor. Recommended (with reservations).

I bought this razor to replace another razor that was outdated and looked worn (because it hit my gym bag) and I was tired of buying replacement heads for it. I bought this razor on purpose because it looked more compact (it is) and I figured 6 razors might work better than 5 on my previous model. However, I'm not sure if the extra razor makes a difference, but I like this one Model versus my previous more conventional razor. I like the following: 1. This is an efficient shaver. I'm not sure if it's an extra blade or if it has more power than my previous razor or maybe the blades are sharper because they're new, but I shave my head almost twice as fast. So that's a big plus. And it's a close shave. Of course, it's important to understand that some people have thicker hair (thicker strands) than others, so not all razors work the same for everyone. This razor cuts the hair on my head almost as close as a blade. Not as close as a straight razor, but no worse or better than any other straight razor I've used.2. It's compact. The head can be easily detached from the main unit, making it easier to store in your bag.3. There are no issues with battery life. It doesn't have a battery level indicator (wish there was one), but it's easy enough to maintain a full charge. What I don't like: 1. Unlike my old razor, you can't take out and disassemble individual parts of the blade to clean it. They are locked in the head unit. That means it's a hassle to clean, and I suspect that if you don't clean the unit regularly (I do this after every shave) the blades will eventually stick together to the point that you'll have to buy a new head because of it. I suppose this makes sense. On my old razor they just made parts of the head unit brittle so it would eventually break and you would have to buy a new one. Or use tape to hold it together. What I did. But then you realize that the various components (rubber/plastic) are actually wearing out and falling apart. So you still need to get a new replacement head. In short, these types of razors (my old one and this one) have components that wear out and eventually fail). This device does not have a battery level indicator. It is either red (charging), green (charging), or green (enabled). Why I still like it better than my previous razor. Despite these shortcomings, it's still better. The blades are sharp (I hand clean them after every head shave) and cut efficiently. The compact design is practical. And replacement heads are always available at a reasonable price should I ever need them. As for the range of other accessories, I think they're mostly gimmicks and I personally don't need them, but you could. recommended. Just understand what you are getting.
