Overall I like this gimbal, I've been playing with 2 taps for a week and I really like the nice LED screen on the back so I can see what recording mode I'm in where I am and what I can also choose all the settings and set up the gimbal exactly how I want it. If you use something like Ronin-s you know it has no screen, and the original Tap v2 and Tap Plus had no screen. It's a lot easier to dial in and tweak all your settings, and if you're used to using something like Ronin, you know you have to go into the app and plug it in, and that can be a little awkward. and change settings, especially when running and shooting. now it's very fast. The biggest innovation with the Crane 2s is its ability to quickly switch to vertical video, so you can see that everything is now balanced for vertical shooting. Personally I think shooting vertical video is one of the seven deadly sins but I've done it and sometimes a client will ask for it and if you need to do gimbal shots this is the quickest and easiest stabilizer because it adds one quickly Unlatch the platen on the side lever here, so you can just slide it in from the bottom here, then the side here, and quickly start recording vertical video. Now you'll need to rebalance a bit before you can start shooting from horizontal to vertical, but this is definitely the quickest way to switch between the two right now. Obviously I've already balanced this perfectly for vertical videos, but I want to show you guys how long it takes to go from vertical back to horizontal.
