bought them on purpose because a previous review said they were too wide - sounded like they would fit my 4 year old with wide feet perfectly . In fact they fit well, stay on the foot and after wearing them for 2 days over the weekend they seem to be holding up well. I may come back to update this review after a week of school when my daughter seems to ruin her shoes the most. I chose navy blue because it gets her school shoes very dirty and I hope the navy color hides that a bit. Also, the front of the toes is rubber and not the fabric that was in their previous shoes, so I'm hoping it will hold up longer than the fabric.
