Great trimmers, blades only made in the USA

Due to Covid I needed a way to trim my beard, eyebrows, ears and nose. I've been using battery powered trimmers for years but they've never worked well and constantly throwing away batteries can't be good for the planet. So I bought these trimmers from Wahl. The trimmer is pretty light. Fits well in the hand, but runs a bit small. This is probably an advantage since a person's head isn't flat and you bypass all those unsightly protrusions (like the nose, ears, lips and chin). The cord is long and not heavy enough to interfere with use. The pouch that comes with it is a bit on the small side, but it will fit everything if you're willing to tinker with it. It's cheap thin material and the zippers are terrible. I'll use it to store my accessories but I won't have a hard time putting the trimmer back in after each use. The blades are of high quality and easy to replace. These include a T-blade for trimming, a slightly smaller beard blade with rounded ends, and a small blade for details like the nose, ears, and mustache. Protection is a bit weak but seems to work well. There are many attachments for the T-Blade, but I wish there were more than three for the Beard Blade. The blades are the only part of this kit that is made in the USA. The trimmer clearly says "Made in China". In this regard, Wahl's packaging and advertising is completely misleading. They have a big red, white, and blue "Made in USA" logo that's clearly visible on the packaging, but most of what you buy is from China. Shame on Wahl for using such misleading packaging. Trimmers and blades deserve 5 stars, but cheap accessories and misleading packaging were enough to knock them down to 4 stars.
