Ideal as head and neck protection!
It's so light and dries quickly when wet. My son just turned 3 and I have the large (youth size) and it is perfect. However, he is slightly larger/larger than the average head for his age. There's room to grow and stretch even more, so I'm sure he'll have enough for at least a few more years.
