Looks uncertain

I'll admit right away that I might be missing something. We've been using the Graco Pack n Play for a few weeks while moving home, but our baby is growing old out of the bassinet. Our full size crib feels a bit big and uncomfortable when traveling so we wanted an in-between solution and it has great reviews. However, I am really dissatisfied with this product. My husband immediately noticed that there are metal bars next to the sides of the bassinet which wouldn't be such a problem except with my baby's wingspan compared to the small size of the bassinet if he was waving his arms or just stretching out his arms inside In general (and he's a medium-sized 3-month-old baby) he's likely to hit her - hard. When we tested the cradle, we had to wrap a soft cloth around the metal part to make baby feel secure. Because the cradle is so small, it is very easy for the baby to move and reach it. the head is flattened as seen from above or on the sides. The mesh is nice in that the baby can still breathe as they move into the mesh, but I'm more concerned about head and neck twisting if they twitch in their sleep. this item. It's great that it works for a lot of other people, but the more I look at it and the more I think about how it's going to work for my child, the more I want to just get it out of my house. I appreciate the ease of setup and the fact that it doesn't take up much space. So if those are your priorities, you'll be fine.
