I bought the small size for my daughter hoping she would run really small. Her torso is 20 inches and the size chart says Small fits 22-23 inches. Well the little one is just a TINY too big around her torso (she can still carry it full) but I'm not sure how it would fit a small child. I appreciated the adjustable straps so it fits her body. Great product and glad it works a little.
