Enhancements match MANY other flashes; MUST BUY.

I have two Nikon SB900 flashes with PocketWizard remotes and a discontinued flash with a different wireless connection, 4 different softboxes, stands and this one that I use for portable studio and recording lighting setups. All fit comfortably in a tactical backpack with a volume of 40 liters. The reason you should get this C2 clip is that it is more powerful, the bracket is metal and you can rotate your DSLR flash sideways if you have strip softboxes. Also, you can insert and fix the flash into the clip along with the diffuser cap. The original old block that didn't allow you to install a flash and diffuser did the job for me. This worked fine, but as soon as I started changing flashes, the clamp spacing became too small. This S2 block has a retractable panel. And the setting no longer moves with tight clicks. It's metal again and it really holds up when tightened. The lever can still ratchet if needed. Simply tighten fully, pull out the lever and rotate forward or backward. Mine also has two extra "freebies" - color filters and a little stretchy white thing. I can tell you I won't be needing this thing, but the gel filters also come with a filter storage liner (which is REALLY tight) and another clear insert. Velcro on both sides, all loops on one side and all hooks on the other. And it's an excellent design for those who already have velcro on their flashes, so let's just use the side that works. The kit also includes a Velcro strip for sticking. Wonderful. I have two 3ft strip softboxes and for what I want to shoot my strobes need to be vertical. I can do it now with the diffuser attached. I also have 24" x 24" and 32" x 32" triangular soft boxes and this design still makes them easy to install and store. They are twice as heavy as solid plastics. Make sure you have strong, lightweight racks to take the weight. DO NOT buy cheap ones. Flashlight stands keep your flashes safe. If they can't be trusted, you will most likely see the gear break until you improve the position. And this S2 holder adds a bit of weight. I am completely satisfied with these. I will keep one of the original clips for the third light. Now my portable system is complete.
