Review on Conair Man Precision Styling Grooming Set - 7-Piece by Kendra Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Below-average quality

Externally, this set looks beautiful in combination with a leather case. The tools inside are of poor quality and of limited use. Clippers and tweezers are the only useful items in the set, but they're basic and cheap-looking. Clippers aren't very smooth to work with, and while the cutting ends are sharp, it doesn't seem like they'll stay that way for long. The tweezers are ok, nothing special, but works perfectly. The mirror is small and inconvenient to use. It's so small that you can't see much in it unless you pull it back and then it all becomes too small to see what you're doing. A slightly larger convex magnifying mirror would be much more useful. The comb is too small to be of any use, it looks fragile and cheap. "Manicure scissors" are blunt and imprecise. Difficult to trim cuticles with it, clippers work better. All in all a disappointing set from Conair that looks like a token gift but doesn't actually get used.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Embarrassing
