I first bought this for my 2 year old not knowing that manual dexterity is required. This is the best random gift! I played with it every day. And although my daughter can't use it yet, she loves watching me do it and keeps asking for it. And my favorite part is coloring them. I fantasize about all the cards and stationery I can make for myself and gifts. Regular ballpoint pens work great. I bought a pack of multiple colors and am having a lot of fun experimenting with endless patterns. I tried gel pens on navy blue paper and the ink smearing from the Spirograph's spinning wheels. But I was able to follow the design, and the finished product turned out to be bright and spectacular. I would and will recommend this product to all my friends and family who enjoy making art.
