Does what it's supposed to do, but is completely inflexible

If you don't mind that this software manages everything in its own way, that's probably fine. I paid for the software and now use Windows Explorer to control my PSP. First, it insists on making a full copy of the memory card when launching Media Manager. I use 4GB memory cards for video and music storage and I don't need an extra copy of everything cluttering up my laptop's hard drive. I'd rather not make a copy, but it's not an option that I can shoot anywhere. I have to manually stop the process every time I start the memory manager or insert another memory card. Second, if you haven't used Media Manager to transfer the files to your PSP, for some reason Media Manager doesn't show them to you. I can browse hundreds of MP3 files on my PSP in Windows Explorer, but Media Manager shows me a blank window. I can't even see what's already on the PSP with this software. Well, he finally found out, but only after I gave him 3.5 gigabytes of my precious storage space to make full copies of everything. Third, I expected the video drag and drop functionality to be there. The main reason I wanted this software was to offer me a hassle-free way to encode mp4 videos on PSP. I've used other software and got tired of renaming files for the PSP to recognize them. Unfortunately, even with the codec installed on my system, Media Manager doesn't find half of the videos on my PC. I'm assuming this is a format that MM doesn't understand. I even had an .mp4 file that I played on the PSP so it was clearly recognized. But MM didn't show it on video that I could broadcast. Instead, I had to copy it using Windows Explorer. Suggestions: - I want Media Manager to use codecs from the Codecs folder like Windows Media Player does. I was able to install the codec and suddenly Media Manager was able to interpret the video and transfer it to the PSP for me. I want the PSP to read PDF documents. But instead maybe a media manager could convert the PDF to HTML for me so I can read it on the PSP. Let me disable this behavior. I want to use Media Manager to create playlists to display on my PSP, but I can't. It's decent software if you want to back up your memory cards, but it's not worth paying extra for. It should have been bundled with the PSP and many of us still wouldn't use it. With a little extra experience, Windows Explorer and a free mp4 video encoder will do everything this software can do.
