Initial review: Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter and won't even turn on. send it back very disappointed! Second Review: I wrote my first review after spending some time getting this to work for our daughter. There aren't many moving parts in this night light. However, before I sent this item back the next day, I gave it another try. I took out the battery and noticed that it was not in the night light and was upside down. The code has been cracked and I'll just check it by walking out the gate if your night light isn't working. Lesson learned from my side. Check the battery to make sure it is properly installed in the remote control. This is a great night light and I would give it 5 stars but I didn't have to fix this item and was frustrated that it wasn't working properly. Personally, when I order from Revain, I expect the products to work properly the first time.
