I don't understand the bad reviews. The skirt I received matched the photo but I believe each monitor may not display the colors correctly. You can put it in the dryer with a damp towel to smooth out any wrinkles from the packaging or if you're picky like me you can iron it, it irons great. The entire item is made of the same material, so the part that is under the top mattress is not flimsy at all. The skirt was a little too big for my bottom mattress so I adjusted it as shown in my first photo. To be honest you can't beat this for the price and I've seen some that weren't as good but were a lot more expensive. The only thing I could add is that the material isn't very thick and has a slight sheen, but it doesn't really "see through" and I don't have a lamp under my bed. My advice is to try it as I am very satisfied.
