I really wish they would work (I bought 10 pieces), but found that they did not live up to expectations. The sensor and brightness were fine, but I was concerned about how quickly they drain the batteries. They were on our stairs and in the hallway. I didn't expect our house to have more people than the average household, but after 6 weeks everyone was blown away. I have always used standard batteries which should have gotten the job done as they are low power LED lights but unfortunately they seem to require longer lasting batteries (which are more expensive).
