Most hang on my apartment door and I use them to store things like hats, bags, face masks etc. The heaviest thing I have is the clipboard. They serve my purposes 100% and I'm not worried about them falling off. BUT, it also makes them prone to scratching surfaces if you accidentally pull them while trying to take them off! This is more of a downside design - there's no material that softens the perimeter of the magnetic side. I imagine such a feature would have prevented me from doing more than a few scratches on the door when I initially placed it. Also, the hooks themselves are stiff/unflexible and the flex the hook ends are a bit inconsistent magnet to magnet I just wish I could bend them all to my liking but even the pliers didn't help I'll probably leave them all as I won't be moving them (unless of course I'm moving it back to the well). As a result, I no longer worry about possible scratches and none of my things fall off them. Bottom Line: They do exactly what I bought them for, but I'd like to spend more time researching similar products to avoid the problems I've described.
