I wish I had known this many years ago! I no longer need separate hangers for skirts and pants. Any hanger will do now :) Because these clips can be positioned anywhere along the bottom bar of the hanger, you can position them closer together for smaller clothes (like baby clothes) or pull them apart as needed. . The clasps are easy to open on their own, but hold clothes tight. However, I've found that they work best with heavier plastic temples (the kind you can find at Target or a similar store) rather than really cheap and flimsy plastic temples. Hangers (which can be purchased at the Dollar Store). The clips on these clips will slide all over the place on thinner hangers that are too flimsy to get a really good grip.
