I haven't found any signs of wear or discoloration from the sun.I wouldn't consider the material fully permeable, but it certainly works great for keeping things inside protected. Something that I love is that it has several pockets to carry your devices without fear of hitting them.The biggest disadvantages are:- the pocket for cards (located on the straps) is too uncomfortable, it is difficult to insert a single card, so I choose not to use it.-the padding on the back feels good, but for people who walk long distances with a suitcase, they will find that the material is too abrasive for their clothes.The constant friction of this material with your back will make your clothes sufferOther than that, the backpack is really roomy and I really love how many pockets it has.
