We have 3 large dogs, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd and Shepsky Gerber. We have had many cages for dogs and in huskies and shepskys metal cages bent to the point of impossibility. GSD opened his mouth when he tried to escape. These other cages were the big ones you usually find. We bought this cage out of desperation. Dogs LOVE it! I think the extra space keeps them from feeling cooped up. When we are at home, with the door open, we leave a large dog bed in it. All three will curl up indoors whenever they seek a quiet spot. If we need to put them in a cage and close the door, we open the top. This is a game changer. Also, it's so strong that they can't destroy it like the others. It's a bit pricey but worth it to keep the dogs safe and happy.
